The client's original console had grown organically around engineering needs, not operator workflows. Together we mapped every core job their team performed in a week—from monitoring model health to debugging live incidents—and reorganised the UI around those flows.
We ran rapid discovery sprints with their on-call team, prototyped new layouts in Figma, and validated them with real incident timelines before committing to build. That work informed a lean but expressive design system: focused typography, restrained colour, and a component library tuned for dense, data-heavy screens.
Post-launch, we stayed close to the engineering team to ship a series of quality-of-life improvements—keyboard-driven navigation, dark mode-ready tokens, and a pattern catalogue that now guides every new feature.
